Has anyone been experiencing problems with trash pick up in Pitcairn? Particularly on the Hill section. The past 3-4 weeks, the trash collectors have passed by my trash leaving it there. I have been following all the "rules" for trash pick up. This week they picked up some of the neighborhood but not all. In my case taking one can and leaving the other. Across the street they picked up one can of three, across the alley they picked up uncanned trash. It seems that since the trash collection was changed to two days a week, it has been screwed up. Today I called Waste Management, they told me it was because WE are putting out trash that is not acceptable. The collectors haven't moved my cans, how could they possibly know what is acceptable and what is not?

I have also made complaint with the Borough Office, They have told me that it will be picked up the following day, which they have picked it up. But why should they have to come around the next day if they would not just pass it up the day it's supposed to be picked up.
