I was very shocked to hear the recent news of UPMC purchasing the old Palace Inn. This will be a nice addition however revenue from taxes will not exsist as UPMC is a "non-profit". This notion of non profits being tax exempt needs to be examined especially after seeing UPMC's record profits last year and their ongoing global endeavor now moving into Ireland. They already are in Italy and Qatar. I hope that WPHAS Forbes has a counter plan. We still need a replacement for Westinghouse and this is not the answer though a step in the proper direction.
