Monroeville Public Library will have a special craft night from 7 to 8:30 p.m. next Monday.

Children are invited to bring their fathers, grandparents and/or others to help them make Mother's Day gifts for their mothers.

First Friday Stories will be held from 10:15 to 11 a.m. this Friday at Monroeville Public Library.

First Friday Stories is a monthly program for preschoolers.

No registration is needed.

Abrakadoodle

Monroeville Recreation Depart-ment is offering the Abrakadoodle Youth Art Program on Sundays through May 10 in the Moss Side Middle School art room.

The classes give children an opportunity to develop new skills and bring out their artistic talents.

Participating children design their own creations using a variety of tools and materials.

Each lesson introduces new techniques and artistic styles. Works by contemporary and master artists are featured.

Classes are divided among age groups. Cost depends on age.
