Robert DiDiano
Bricklayer for Cost Corp.

Robert D. DiDiano, 71, of Monroeville died of cancer July 4, 2009.

He was a son of the late Joseph and Carmella DiDiano.

He worked 40 years with the Cost Corp. and was a member of Bricklayers Union Local 9 and the Army Reserves.

He loved spending time with his family on holidays and at Sunday dinners. He enjoyed golfing, hunting, gardening and going to the casinos.

Surviving are his wife, Juliet DiDiano; children, Robin Kalkstein and Dr. James DiDiano and his wife, Jamie; grandchildren, Christopher Vecchio, Jesse, Dustin, Aman-da and Shannon Kalk- stein, Zachary Uherek and Matthew, Robert and Nicholas DiDiano; siblings, Carmella, Kitty, Nick, Tom, Jim, Joseph-ine, Vic, Ralph, Joe and Dixie; brothers- and sisters-in-law; a special friend, Jul Bertoni; and many nieces and neph-ews.

A son, Edward I. Uher-ek, and two siblings, Angelo and Carmen, preceded him in death.

Visitation was at Gene H. Corl Inc. Funeral Chapel & Cremation Center of Monroeville. A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated at North American Martyrs Cath-olic Church, Monroeville. Interment was in Restland Memorial Park, Monroeville.

Martin McClenahan
Gateway electrician

Martin Sylvester McClenahan, of North Beach, Md., formerly of North Huntingdon and Pitcairn, died June 28, 2009.

Mr. McClenahan was a deacon at First Presbyterian Church of Irwin. He was a 32-degree Mason, a life member of the Elks Lodge, a volunteer firefighter; and an ambulance driver for Pitcairn Hose companies No.1 and 2.

He was an electrician for the Gateway School District. He was a handyman and enjoyed woodworking

Mr. McClenahan enjoyed spending time with his family and his son's dog, Brador.

Surviving are a son, Timothy Martin McClenahan and his wife, Fran; a grandson, Timothy Mark; and two great-grandchildren.

His wife, Melrose McClenahan, preceded him in death.

Visitation and services were at the Lee Funeral Home, Calvert P.A., Owings, Md. Internment was in Southern Memorial Gardens, Dunkirk, Md.

Harrison Tigney
Loved gardening

Harrison Tigney, 87, of Monroeville, died July 3, 2009.

He loved to garden and spend time with his dog Rocky.

Surviving are his wife, Virginia (Oaks) Tigney; a daughter, Betty Ann Hadjazi and her husband, Abbas, of Monroeville; five grandchildren, Anthony, Mehdi, Mehran, Koroush and Kianna; and three siblings, Floyd, Rebecca and Bertha.

A son, Harrison Lemoyne Tigney; and 10 siblings preceded him in death.

Visitation was at Jobe Funeral Home & Cremation Services Inc., Monroeville. A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses 14051 Route 993, Trafford.

Frank Nowikowski
PPG lab tech

Frank M. Nowikowski, 70, died June 29, 2009.

Mr. Nowikowski was a retired PPG lab technician. He served in the Air Force for eight years.

Surviving are his wife, Jackie Nowikowski; two children, Jarrod Nowi-kowski and Tamara Brown and her husband, Donald; a grandchild, Brandon Nowikowski; five siblings, Kathy Zembrowski and Robert, Joseph, Greg and Mark Nowikowski; a brother-in-law; a special nephew, Eric Stuck; other nieces and nephews; and cousins.

Visitation was at Gene H. Corl Inc. Funeral Chapel & Cremation Services of Monroeville. A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated at St. Colman Catholic Church, Turtle Creek. Interment was private.

Mary Hillwig
Great-grandmother

Mary Amelia Hillwig, 77, of Monroeville died July 5, 2009.

Surviving are her husband, Clyde Hillwig; sons, Kevin S. and Jeff A. Hillwig; grandchildren, Melanie, Kristen, Lindsay, Andrew and Sidney; a great-grandchild; and a brother, Ken Collier.

Her parents, Albert and Amelia Ellenberger, preceded her in death.

Visitation was at Gene H. Corl Inc. Funeral Chapel & Cremation Center of Monroeville. Services will be at 10:30 a.m. today, Thursday, at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, 4503 Old William Penn Highway, Monroe-ville, with the Rev. Eric Ash Sr. officiating. Please meet at the church. Interment will be private.

M. Jane Dietrick
Mother of 10

M. Jane Dietrick, 84, of Murrysville, died July 3, 2009.

She was born Sept. 12, 1924, in St. Augustine and was a daughter of the late Dennis and Margaret McDermott Horne.

She was a member of Mother of Sorrows Catholic Church, Murrysville, were she enjoyed attending daily Mass.

She also liked working in her garden.

Surviving are 10 children, Diane Runyan of Forest Hills, Charles Dietrick of St. Louis, Richard Dietrick of Philadelphia, Hal Dietrick of Wexford, Cynthia Lowery of Churchill, Kevin Dietrick of Orlando, Fla., Chester Dietrick of Squirrel Hill, Florence Belnap of Arlington, Vt., Norman Dietrick of Upper St. Clair and John Dietrick of Hellertown; 21 grandchildren; a brother, Charles Horne of Denver; a sister, Matilda Turner of Huston; and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Clifton C. Dietrick; and four siblings, Joseph and Francis Horne, Ruth Zito and Patricia Woodward.

Visitation was at Hart Funeral Home, Murrys-ville. A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated at Mother of Sorrows Church, Murrysville. Burial was in St. Augustine Cemetery, Cambria County. Memorial donations may be made to the Mother of Sorrows Building Fund, 4202 Old William Penn Highway, Murrysville, PA 15668.
