Dennis Molnar
Holocaust survivor
Dennis Molnar, of Monroeville, died June 2, 2008.
Mr. Molnar was a Holocaust survivor who showed brilliant strength and determination in escaping persecution and beginning a new life in a prosperous country.
After leaving Hungary in 1956, without knowing any English, he built a life that included having a family and working at Westinghouse as an engineer.
Mr. Molnar is also survived by his sister, Ibolya Perl.
Friends were received at Gene H. Corl Funeral Home Inc., Monroeville. Interment followed at Plum Creek Cemetery, Plum.
Robert Blaszak
Won teaching award
Robert F. Blaszak, 81, of Export, died May 31, 2008.
A teacher for Pittsburgh Public Schools for 37 years. Mr. Blaszak received an award from Valley Forge Freedom Foundation for his excellence in teaching.
Surviving are his wife, Virginia "Ginger" Babcock Blaszak; son, Douglas Blaszak; daughters, Kathleen Blaszak and Susan Busche and her husband, Dale; two grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Friends were received at Gene H. Corl Funeral Chapel Inc., Monroeville.

Andrew Suvak
World War II veteran
Andrew "Andy" Suvak, 87, of Turtle Creek, died June 3, 2008.
An Army veteran of World War II, he was a retired Westinghouse Airbrake Co. machinist who especially enjoyed telling jokes and making people smile.
In addition to his parents, Michael and Anna Galisin Suvak, he was preceded in death by his wife, Mildred Rosevitik Suvak; and brothers, Michael Suvak, Stephen Suvak, William Suvak and John Suvak.
Surviving are his sister, Anne Kocan; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Friends were received at Alfieri Funeral Home, Wilmerding, where a funeral service was held. Divine Liturgy was held in Sts. Peter and Paul Ukrainian Catholic Church, Wilmerding.
Margaret Comito
Grandmother of 12
Margaret M. Comito, 88, of Trafford, died June 2, 2008.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Paul and Maria Sleight Marcoz; three brothers; and one sister.
Surviving are her husband, John Comito Sr.; daughters, Cecelia Lentz and her husband, Richard Nagle, Margaret "Marty" Bianco and her husband, Joe, and Maria Ridinger and her fiance, Michael Walker; sons, John "Coodie" Comito Jr. and his wife, Linda, and Ralph Comito and his wife, Lorraine; 12 grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
Friends were received at John M. Dobrinick Funeral Home Inc., Trafford, where a blessing service was held. Interment followed in Rest-land-Lincoln Memorial Park, Monroeville.
Annette Lombardo
Great-grandmother of two
Annette Lombardo, 96, of Monroeville, died June 7, 2008.
She was preceded in death by her husband, John Lombardo.
Surviving are her daughters, Mary Ann Grand and Rose Lombardo; son, John Lombardo Jr.; sister, Mary Valetti; two grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Friends were received at Gene H. Corl Inc. Funeral Chapel & Cremation Center of Monroeville. Mass was celebrated in North American Martyrs Church.
Eleanora Siatkowski
Brooklyn native
Eleanora R. Siatkowski, 92, of Monroeville, formerly of Yardley, died on June 2, 2008.
Born in Brooklyn, N.Y., she grew up in Plainfield, N.J., and resided in Yardley for many years before moving to Monroeville.
Mrs. Siatkowski was a retired bookkeeper and former member of Polish Arts Club of Trenton, where she served as secretary and was on the scholarship committee.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Edward Siatkowski.
Surviving are her son, Ronald Siatkowski; daughter, Alycia (William) Iski and her husband, William; a grandson; and a great-granddaughter.
Arrangements were handled by Gene H. Corl Funeral Chapel Inc., Monroeville. Graveside services were held at Polish Shrine in Our Lady of Czestochowa Cemetery in Doylestown, where a funeral Mass was celebrated.
Harry Robare
Married 59 years
Harry F. Robare Jr., 85, of Turtle Creek, died June 5, 2008.
Mr. Robare was a World War II Army veteran and a former employee of Acheson Co. in Rankin and Wabco in Wilmerding.
In 1988, he graduated from Monroeville School of Business and was then employed at Harley Hotel for 15 years.
He was a lifetime member of North Braddock Volunteer Fire Department and a past president of Wilkinsburg AARP 602.
He was preceded in death by a sister; and brother-in-law.
Surviving are his wife of 59 years, Anna Mae (Cassidy) Robare; daughters, Marion Petrovay and her husband, John, of Turtle Creek, Alice Ann Crossland and her husband, Dean, of Camp Hill, and Geralyn Robare of Wilkins; son, Harry F. III and his wife, Clara Ann, of Hempfield; brother, Rodger Robare and his wife, Pat, of North Braddock; sister, Lillian Sipe, also of North Braddock; nine grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and nieces and nephews.
Friends were received at Patrick T. Lanigan Funeral Home. Mass was celebrated in St. Bernadette Church. Interment with military honors followed at Monongahela Cemetery.
Stella Thompson
Made perogies
Stella Zemleduck Thompson, 82, of Trafford, died June 3, 2008.
She was a member of Sts. Peter and Paul Ukrainian Catholic Church, Wilmerding, where she volunteered her time making pierogies and was involved in many aspects of the church.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Peter and Barbara Wekluk Zemleduck; husband, Joseph Thompson; and sister, Mildred Gligonic.
Surviving are her sisters, Mary Hegland and Ann Grossman; brothers, Steve Zemleduck, Paul Zemleduck and John Zemleduck; son, Dennis Thompson; stepdaughter, Denise Matthews; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Friends were received at Alfieri Funeral Home Inc., Wilmerding, where a service was held, followed by Divine Liturgy in Sts. Peter and Paul Ukrainian Catholic Church.
Joanne Corbelli
Married 44 years
Joanne E. (Miller) Corbelli, 70, of Gibsonia, West Deer Township, formerly of Monroeville, died May 23, 2008.
Born Feb. 22, 1938, in Rochester, N.Y., she was the daughter of the late Leo and Virginia (Altemari) Miller.
She was a nurse at St. Francis Hospital for many years.
Surviving are her husband of 44 years, Louis Corbelli; sons, James Corbelli and his wife, Christine, of Hampton Township, and Joseph Corbelli of Wexford; daughters, Andrea Corbelli-Fife and her husband, Scott, of Florida, and Beth Ann Ryan and her husband, Christopher, of Hampton Township; brothers, Leo Miller of Illinois and Gene Mil-ler and his wife, Betty, of New York; sister, Anne Lake of New York; and seven grandchildren.
Arrangements were handled by Schellhaas Funeral Home Ltd.

Linda Miller
Married 42 years
Linda J. (Magestro) Miller, 63, of Murrysville, died June 7, 2008.
Born June 28, 1944, in Rochester, she was the daughter of Robert and Beatrice (Ropon) Magistro of Aliquippa.
A graduate of Presbyterian Hospital School of Nursing, Pittsburgh, Mrs. Miller was a registered nurse and a member of Newlonsburg Presbyterian Church, Murrysville.
In addition to her parents, she is survived by her husband of 42 years, Richard Miller; son, Robert Miller of Chambersburg; daughters, Beth Sherman and her husband, Scott, of Murrysville, and Kristy Johnson and her husband, Joshua, of Monroeville; brother, Robert Magestro of Darlington; five grandchildren; two nieces; and several friends and other relatives.
Friends were received at Vaia Funeral Home Inc., Delmont, where a service was held with the Rev. Marion N. "Marnie" Silbert of Newlonsburg Presbyterian Church officiating.

Elizabeth Karlar
Mother of two
Elizabeth "Betty" (Binning) Karlar, 82, of Churchill, died June 8, 2008.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Ernest Karlar; and a brother.
Surviving are her children, Ernest Karlar and his wife, Linda, of North Braddock, and Chris Karlar of Churchill; sisters, Barbara Schwartz of Turtle Creek and Daisy Butts of Monroeville; two granddaughters; and two great-granddaughters.
Friends were received at Jobe Funeral Home Inc., Turtle Creek, where a service will be held at 10 a.m. today (Thursday). Interment will follow at Churchill Cemetery.
