David Milligan
World War II veteran
David Milligan, 89, of Monroeville, formerly of the Linhart section of Wilkins, died May 6, 2008, in Forbes Regional Hospital, Monroeville.
He was a welder for Westinghouse Electric and retired from U.S. Steel Research, Monroeville.
Mr. Milligan was in 1st Marine Division during World War II, having served in combat in the South Pacific islands and as a presidential guard at the Truman White House. He was a member of American Legion in Monroeville and VFW in Turtle Creek.
He is survived by his wife, Nellie Blackwell Milligan; children, Patricia Grant and her husband, John, David Milligan, Sandra Walters and her husband, Alton, and Trudy and Judy Milligan; nine grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
Family and friends were received at Jobe Funeral Home, Turtle Creek. A service was held in McMasters United Methodist Church, Turtle Creek. Interment with full military honors was at National Cemetery of the Alleghenies, Bridgeville.
Clara Sukitsch
Bloomfield resident
Clara E. Spinnenweber Sukitsch, 89, of Bloomfield, died May 8, 2008.
Her husband, Frank Sukitsch, preceded her in death.

Gary LaDrew
Father of three
Gary D. LaDrew, 69, of Monroeville, died May 8, 2008.
His wife, Dawn Danielson LaDrew, preceded him in death.
He is survived by his children, Billy Kennedy of California, Dane LaDrew of Pitcairn and DeeAnne LaDrew-Mikolaczyk.

Robert Demmler
Longtime firefighter
Robert Lee Demmler, 69, of Pitcairn, died May 6, 2008.
Mr. Demmler was a fire captain with Wilkinsburg Fire Department for more than 30 years.
Surviving are his wife, Connie Shupa Demmler; children, Bob and Richard Demmler, Colene Shannon, John and Carrie Shook and Betsy Hamilton; brothers, Harold Hainley and Fred Demmler; sister, Ardith Larkin; seven grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.
Private arrangements were handled by Wm. O. Pearce Funeral Home, Pitcairn.
Paul Yatsko
Grandfather of nine
Paul E. Yatsko, 72, of Monroeville, died May 7, 2008.
His wife, Barbara Ann Yatsko, preceded him in death.
Surviving are his children, Paula Shetter and her husband, Bruce, Pam Ostien and her husband, Gary, Gregory Yatsko and his wife, Sheila, Gary Yatsko and his wife, Florita and Glenn Yatsko and his wife, Rebecca; brothers, Andrew and Nick Yatsko; nine grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
Family and friends were received at Gene H. Corl Inc. Funeral & Cremation Center of Monroeville. Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated in North American Martyrs Catholic Church, Monroeville.
Jacob Elkin
Mason, union member
Jacob W. Elkin, 94, of Monroeville, died May 3, 2008.
A World War II Navy veteran, Mr. Elkin was a member of Masonic Lodge and Carpenters Union.
His wife, Velma Naomi Elkin, preceded him in death.
Surviving are his daughter, Ruth Walters and her husband, Robert; two granddaughters; and three great-grandchildren.

Anna Glister
Grandmother of five
Anna Pudlowski Glister, 93, formerly of North Versailles, died May 9, 2008.
Preceding her in death were her husband, Adam Glister; and siblings, Florence Rovny, Mildred Spazak and Walter, John and Edward Strychalski.
She is survived by her children, Dolores Schneider and her husband, George, and John Glister and his wife, Sandi; brothers, Joseph and Stanley Strychalski; sisters, Mary Belczyk and Nellie Gombo; five grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
Friends and family were received at Alfieri Funeral Home Inc., Wilmerding. Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated in St. Jude the Apostle Church, Wilmerding. Interment was at Good Shepherd Cemetery, Monroeville.
Felix Marguriet
Conrail retiree
Felix L. Marguriet, 83, of North Versailles, died May 11, 2008.
Retired from Conrail, he was a member of Plum Creek-Monroeville Masonic Lodge No. 799.
Preceding him in death were his parents, Phillip and Anna Ciao Marguriet; wife, Barbara Mondelli Marguriet; and siblings, Mary Roberts and Tony Sr., Vito, Danny and Helen Marguriet.
Surviving are his children, July Stitt and her husband, Mickey, and Felix Marguriet; and a grandson.
Friends were received at Alfieri Funeral Home Inc., Wilmerding, where a service will be held at 9 a.m. today, followed by celebration of Mass of Christian Burial at St. Jude the Apostle Church. Interment will follow at New St. Joseph Cemetery.
Blanche Deluse
Grandmother of one
Blanche May Lawrence Deluse, 81, of Monroeville, died May 11, 2008.
Preceding her in death were her husband, F. Kenneth Deluse; children, Nolan, Michael and Robin Tallerico; and siblings, Thelma Anderson and Bert Lawrence.
Surviving are her daughter, Blanche Figliola and her husband, James, of Monroeville; and a grandson.
