Edward Keller
Retired from Marine Corps
Edward James Keller, 86, formerly of Monroeville, died April 28, 2008, in Yountville, Calif.
Mr. Keller was a retired Marine Corps officer. He had been a Monroeville postal employee.
He is survived by his wife, Elma Keller; children, James Keller of Florida, Michael Keller of Las Vegas, Robert Keller of Florida, Joseph Keller of Nevada, Thomas Keller of California, Keith Gratzmiller and his wife, Lou, of Monroeville, Lynn Katosfky and her husband, Harold, of Monroeville, and Sandra Sage of Murrysville; 15 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
Memorial donations are suggested to Edward James Keller Scholarship Fund, The French Laundry, Attn: Thomas Keller, 6640 Washington St., Yountville, CA 94599. The fund benefits deserving culinary students.
Mildred Gligonic
Mother of two
Mildred Zemleduck Gligonic, 90, formerly of Trafford and Wall, died May 1, 2008.
Preceding her in death were her husband, George Gligonic; sister, Ann Grossman; and brothers, Steve, Paul and John Zemleduck.
She is survived by her sons, Paul Gligonic and his wife, Jennifer, and David Gligonic and his wife, Anncelene; sisters, Stella Thompson and Mary Hegland; and three grandchildren.
Friends and family were received at Alfieri Funeral Home Inc., Wilmerding. Divine Liturgy was held in Holy Trinity Byzantine Church, Wall.
Larry Grubbs
Father of six
Larry A. "Butch" Grubbs, 73, of Greensburg, formerly of Wilmerding, died April 30, 2008.
Mr. Grubbs was a retired employee of Westinghouse Air Brake with 33 years of service.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Ellen Bentley Grubbs; son, Steven Paul Grubbs; and brother, Robert Grubbs Jr.
Surviving are his children, Larry "Butchie" and Gary Grubbs, Dianne Donnelly, Donna Jean Altenbaugh and Kathy Donnelly; brothers, Paul, Harold and Harry Grubbs; sisters, Anne Shannon and Charlene Watkoski; many grandchildren; and great-grandchildren.
Friends and family were received at Alfieri Funeral Home Inc., Wilmerding.
The family suggests memorial donations to Arnold Palmer Cancer Center, 200 Village Drive, Greensburg, PA 15601.
Matthew Czyzewski
World War II veteran
M. Czyzewski, 88, of Pitcairn, died April 28, 2008.
He was a retired steel fabricator at Bethlehem Steel.
Mr. Czyzewski was a World War II Army veteran, a life member of Camp B and a charter member of Knights of Columbus No. 4925.
Preceding him in death were his wife, Anna Zolyak Czyzewski; and siblings, Sophie Kaczmarkiewicz, Marion McMillian, Clara Paskevitz and Joe Czyzewski.
Surviving are his children, Michael and Patricia Czyzewski, both of Pitcairn; sister, Theresa Scalz of New Castle; and three grandchildren.
Visitation was at Wm. O. Pearce Funeral Home Inc., Pitcairn. A service was held in St. Bernadette Church, Monroeville, with the Rev. Michael Decewicz officiating. Interment was at Good Shepherd Cemetery, Monroeville.
Richard Deane
Navy veteran
Richard D. Deane, 79, of Monroeville, died May 3, 2008.
Mr. Deane was the director of maintenance for Giant Eagle headquarters, Blawnox, for many years.
He was a Navy veteran.
Mr. Deane was a longtime member of St. Bernadette Parish in Monroeville who was active in Lazarus Choir, Senior Ministry and Trinity Club.
His first wife, Cecilia Ann Casale Deane, preceded him in death.
He is survived by his wife, Elma Whalen Yanigan Deane; children, Michael Deane and his wife, Rebecca, Donald Deane and his wife, Carol, Rick Deane and Cindy Layton and her husband, Dennis; siblings, Alfred Deane and Charlotte Choppa; 10 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
Private visitation for the family was at Jobe Funeral Home & Cremation Services Inc., Monroeville. Celebration of Mass, followed by presentation of military honors, was in St. Bernadette Parish, Monroeville. Private interment was at Restland Lincoln Memorial Park, Monroeville.

Margaret Kosicek
Moved to Delmont
Margaret C. Kosicek, 84, of Delmont, formerly of Monroeville, died May 1, 2008.
Preceding her in death were her husband, Casper Kosicek; and siblings, Darlene Pistella and John Kosicek.
Surviving are her children, Josephine Kosicek, Barbara Albrecht and Donna Nacey and her husband, Thomas; sister, Mary Fuller; and six grandchildren.
Friends were received at Jobe Funeral Home & Cremation Services Inc., Monroeville. Interment was at Plum Creek Cemetery.
Raymond Hinerman
Metal fabricator
Raymond Joseph Hinerman, 68, of Monroeville, died May 3, 2008.
Mr. Hinerman had worked at National Tube in McKeesport as a metal fabricator.
Surviving are his wife, Vivian Lee Winkle Hinerman; sons, Jeffrey and Joseph Hinerman; sister, Edna DeCrue; and two grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held at 4 p.m. today (Thursday) in Assembly of God Church, Pitcairn, with the Rev. Dave Martin officiating. Arrangements were handled by Wm. O. Pearce Funeral Home, Pitcairn.
Kenneth Martin
Married 33 years
Kenneth E. Martin, 56, of East McKeesport, died May 3, 2008.
Born Jan. 14, 1952, in McKeesport, he was the son of William and Mary Witherow Martin.
He was an employee of Lamar Advertising.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his siblings, Robert Martin and Kathryn Cramer.
Surviving are his wife of 33 years, Linda Limberg Martin; children, Jeff Martin and his wife, Celeste, and Karen Martin, all of Monroeville; brother, William Martin of Virginia; and two grandchildren.
Friends were received at Forgie-Snyder Funeral Home, East McKeesport.
